Dr Teresa Rotunno began her medical training in Italy before specialising in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in Switzerland. She practised at the CHUV in Lausanne as an assistant doctor and then as Head of Clinic in the Plastic Surgery Department for several years, where she perfected her skills. She is a plastic surgeon specialising in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, and a member of the FMH.
Her professional experience has given her solid expertise in various areas of plastic surgery, including aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery after cancer, post-bariatric surgery, facial surgery, onco-dermatological surgery, intimate surgery and aesthetic medicine.
In 2021, she opened her private practice at the Hôpital de la Tour in Geneva, while continuing to work as a registered doctor at the Hôpital de Nyon. Her passion for plastic surgery is fuelled by a rigorous approach, a constant quest for innovation and her regular participation in national and international congresses.
When it comes to plastic and aesthetic surgery, she sees her profession as much more than just a job. It's a deep-seated passion that enables her to combine technical precision and artistic flair to create beauty with delicacy and sensitivity.
