Dr Renato Gondar is an expert in cooperative spinal surgery, combining the microsurgical skills of neurosurgery with the bio-mechanical concepts and sagittal alignment of orthopaedics to achieve optimal results.

His professional qualifications include the Master's Certificate in Advanced Spine Surgery from the European Eurospine Society and the European Society of Neurosurgery (EANS).

He has also won the scientific prize of the Swiss (SGNC) and German (GANS) Neurosurgical Societies, and continues his scientific (medical research and development) and academic (teaching) career in conjunction with the various university neurosurgical departments in his career, remaining a consultant doctor in the Neurosurgery Department of the HUG.
