Dr. Natalia Papastergiou, graduated in medicine from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, arrived in Switzerland in 2011 to complete postgraduate training in orthopedic surgery and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system, obtaining the FMH title in August 2021.
She developed her training in the orthopedics and traumatology departments of the Lausanne University Hospital Center (CHUV), in several peripheral hospitals in the canton of Vaud and in the Pourtalès Hospital in Neuchâtel.
With several years of experience as an assistant doctor and then clinic head, she is interested in upper limb surgery. So, she completed her training with two fellowships in Belgium and Greece respectively in order to improve in this field. Fascinated by the treatment of pathologies linked to sports practice, in 2022 she also obtained the FMH title of specialist in Sports Medicine.
Dr. Papastergiou wants to give her patients effective solutions for traumatic and non-traumatic pathologies of the shoulder, elbow and hand. It also treats non-traumatic foot pathology (notably hallux valgus, forefoot osteoarthritis, metatarsalgia, tendinopathy) and foot and ankle trauma.
